David holds the prestigious CFP® certification, one of the most respected financial planning credentials among consumers and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, David adheres to the CFP Board’s code of ethics for integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence. In addition to financial planning, David’s areas of expertise include tax strategies, employee benefits and retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance.

David began working at Raymond James first as an intern in 1996, and then as a financial advisor and branch manager. In 2013, he voluntarily gave up several security licenses, including the Series 7, in order to co-found a fee-only RIA. David earned an MBA from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Eckerd College.

He was born in Dunedin, grew up in Tarpon Springs and today lives in Seminole, with his wife and three children. In his free time, David enjoys golf, basketball and outdoor activities. He is a member of St. Paul’s Church and serves on the finance council.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
